Dear Dawn & Staff,

Thank you for your loving care of our sister Kate. We deeply appreciate the respect & kindness you gave to Kate & to us during these past months when Clermont became her home. You will remain a part of our loving memory of Kate.

Kate's Sisters, Robyn, Mary, Ann & Margaret.

To all at Clermont,

Many thanks for the love and care you all showed Mum when she made her home with you.

Thanks again,
Wendy, Jerry & Family.

Dear Dawn and Elizabeth,

A note of appreciation and grateful thanks, for the outstanding devotion, great nursing ability, amazing help, and deep concern, for the very kind assistance for the care needed, to achieve wonderful improvement in health for us all. Indeed, happily uplifting confidence to a remarkable degree, which is really important.

There is only one word to express the oustanding enthusiasm shown very clearly in every possible way, that is "superlative."

These few lines are quite inadequate, but my unfounded admiration for you is very sincere.

With very good wishes always,

John Yeates.

Stephen and I would like to express our thanks and gratitude to all the nurses and staff at Clermont for their care, compassion and kindness to John during his stay with you.

I know John appreciated all that was done to help him spend his last days in comfort and free of pain and we will be forever grateful to you all.

Jean & Steve.

Dear Dawn,

Thank you for the lovely Sympathy Card I received from you and the staff of Clermont Nursing Home. Also my heartfelt thanks for the wonderful care Bill received by management and staff during his stay there.

It made my family and myself feel so contented that he was in such a nice Nursing Home.

I felt it was a happy place. There was laughter there, entertainment, and such gentleness and kindness shown to everyone by management and the staff.

Within a couple of weeks my daughter Carolo and I will visit you and give our personal thanks.

Kindest Regards to all,
Dorothy Goldsworthy.

Our sincere gratitude for the devotion and care given to my husband Bill O'Brien who passed away on the 25th July.

The support and comfort given to my daughter and myself will never be forgotten.

Fran O'Brien and Family.

To all the staff of Clermont Nursing Home,

Thank you for caring for my mother Flo Flint over the last 7 years. Your care and devotion to her wellbeing made her last years safe and happy ones.

With regards from Elizabeth & Bill, Kay & Derek, Felicity & Malcolm.

Dear Dawn & Liz,

This note is long overdue but we did wish to thank you all for the wonderful care you gave to Bettina during her stay with you.

It is not an easy time of life, or an easy transition for anyone, but you and your staff, and in particular Jan Sinclair, helped Bettina to accept Clermont as her home. You were all bright faced and affectionate and I know that (and in particular) in her last few months, Bettina was made to feel secure and cared for by all concerned. The "Betty Room" is a memory which will last a long time and hold a special place in our hearts.

You are all to be congratulated on the job you do so well and the difference you make to so many lives.

With kind regards and thanks,

Warren, Trish and family.

To all the wonderful staff,

Thank you so much for taking such good care of Dorothy (mum, gran) for the last 11 months.

We only ever saw her treated with respect, dignity and kindness. She was always nice and clean and her eating whims were always catered for.

We will never forget your kindness.

Susan, Jeff, Brett, Sara, Cooper & Annie.

To all the staff,

What a great bunch you all are!

Thank you all very much for giving so much time & effort to give my mum a wonderful 100th birthday.

I very much appreciate the loving kindness you all give, all day, every day.

Many, many thanks,

Ms M. Donnelly
Acting Director of Nursing

Dear Ms Donnelly,
As my father has passed away to-day, I wish to extend to you and all stratas of your staff my sincerest appreciation for the loving care, support and devotion that you, and your predecessor have afforded Arthur Petersen and our families.

It was obvious to me from my first visit when I was provided the opportunity of inspecting your services that my father would be extremely cared for and the following almost four weeks bore this out conclusively.

There is no doubt that your staff acts professionally and empathically towards the residents and their visitors. You truly place the emphasis on "caring" in its most humane meaning and "home" in it most family orientated context. It was so encouraging to know you all, to place our father and grandfather in your unstinting diligence and custody, especially for us at this most blessed time of the year we call Christmas.

I for one thoroughly enjoyed those morning sessions of therapy and entertainment, and believe that the organisers of this aspect of your work "deserve a medal". Those programs set the mood for stimulating the appetite and allowing visitors like myself to assist my father in having his midday meal. The orderlies were so bright and displaying concern in each of their routines, especially the "tea lady"; the nursing staff were so committed and understanding of one’s emotional needs, and we feel that we can include the evening sisters amongst our best friends. Even the yardman would say "hello".

I have no doubt about the successful outcome of your accreditation next year.

Please accept this appreciation from us all, but I must let my father have the final word which he asserted within the first week of his admission:

"They are a good crew here, Allan, most attentive"

Coming from my father, that’s high praise!

Yours faithfully,
Allan F. Petersen
Boxing Day, 1999.

Dear Marie,

My father would like to place on record our deepest appreciation of the care you and your staff at Clermont showed to my mother, Enid Forsyth.

Naturally we were upset at her passing, but we know she was at peace and died with grace.

The kindness you showed during Mum’s stay with you was never taken for granted and the entire family knew that Enid was in the best of hands.

We are also very appreciative of the kindness and friendly welcome all the staff showed to my father George, and he wishes to express his heartfelt thanks also.

The only days he did not visit Mum during her stay was when he himself was in Ryde Hospital on 2 occasions.

Would you please thank all of the staff for doing an outstanding job during Mum’s residence with you, and we wish all at Clermont our good wishes.

Yours faithfully
David Forsyth and family.

To the Staff & Residents of Clermont Nursing Home

Our grateful thanks for the exceptional care and friendship given to Dad and Grandad (Jack Findlater) during his stay at Clermont. Dad loved the Trivia Days, the Ballroom Dancing and the musical events, the chats with staff, and reminiscence of days gone by.

Everyone at Clermont contributed to making his last year as enjoyable as possible. Thank you all, it meant a great deal to know he was in such kind and capable hands.

Margaret, James and Trevor.
